Good Monday morning everyone. Starting with prayers for friends and families for the students at Brown University and for the friends and families of the Jewish killed in Australia. Such senselessness. We don't watch the news on Sunday so just found that out and not good to wake up to that. Today still bitterly cold so one more day of toughing that out. Today should finish my little Design Works ornament of the three candles and make a meat loaf for later. Happy new week!

The fine art of knot tying…unfortunately, with my floss..on the back of my work…I’ve not yet mastered the art of untying said knots….

Is Silly Birds a kit or a pattern? I'm looking for something that uses DMC floss, but is preferably a kit that includes the supplies. I'm on a fixed income and trying to cut corners when I can.

Good morning/afternoon everyone. It's been cold and somewhat productive here as far as stitching. My volunteering at Friends of Foster Kids is quite busy, but I love the craziness. 🤪. Mom's birthday came and went sis was sick so we haven't done moms bday dinner yet. Oldest son Justin turned 26 on Wednesday.😲. We had pizza and my MIL made a lemon jello cheesecake thingy, she makes when the mood hits her or someone asks.

It's been awhile since I had a real weekend to myself and every time I want to make Christmas cookies, or do laundry (boys do most of their own but I like washing the clothes that were in storage. Silly huh.

Well posting what I've been working on. If anyone has done it in the past please let me know how it worked out.
