Good Tuesday morning everyone. I'm going to deviate from my usual post by sharing my Italian vegetable soup recipe, which I will make later today so I can peacefully stitch under our foot of snow. Enjoy and have an excellent day!

6 cups water (add 3 bouillon cubes) - 0 pts.
1/2 head of cabbage
1 small red bell pepper
2 large carrots
1 medium onion
1-1/4 cups zucchini
2 cloves garlic
1 generous cup of spinach (frozen or fresh)
1 6 oz. tomato paste with pesto 4 pts.
1/2 cup dry orzo - 11 pts.
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry rosemary
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. black pepper
I put this in a crock pot and just let it simmer until finished. Enjoy!

Good Monday morning everyone. The snow has stopped, but we got over 10 inches to contend with and it's cold. We have to venture out today to fill our gas tank and get a few items at the store. I am starting on my "Mermaid and the Ship" (cropped version) this morning and taking a break from Lady for about 2 weeks. Might as well settle in for what looks to be a long, long winter.
