Good Tuesday morning everyone. We are still dealing with this cold, but it gets better each morning when we wake up. Last night I woke up coughing and there was Buddy to the rescue. My new laptop wasn't ready yesterday, but should be today. Doing my computer on this dinosaur of a desktop with Windows 7 is not a joy, but it still works really well because it isn't used that much. Today is vacuum and floor day and stitching. After today I should only have one smaller page to go on "Lady". My "Floral Voyage" pattern came yesterday and I am determining whether to do it on 32 ct. lugana or 16 ct. aida. Have a terrific Tuesday!

The doctors said he will be born November 13. It is on Friday!

Hi all. Now for warm and fuzzy stuff. I chose my annual cross stitch pattern and fabric gift. I informed my sister and she already made the purchase. Yeah. 👍🏽. I chose a new Marketplace pattern- “Cherry Hills” by JEDxStitch and 14 count Petals Aida by Picture this Plus. I chose a lighter color fabric. The problem is, you might ask? 🤔 I have to wait until Christmas. 😜 But it will be worth it. Let me know what you think. 🥹

Good Monday morning everyone. Today I go to pick up my new laptop with all my other information cloned onto it. In will go Bryan's laptop for the same treatment. Our laptops were 14 years old and long past the expiration dates. I am so close to finishing "Lady" that I'm getting really excited and looking forward to starting "Floral Voyage". I will add it to our sea wall of cross stitch patterns. Today is ham and beans. The beans have been soaking in the bone broth overnight. All I have to do is make some corn muffins. Perfect for cooler weather. Bryan and I ate all of the penicillin soup yesterday and are feeling much better. Have a magnificent Monday!

It’s been a while. I have been hard at work, but I was distracted because my sister had to be hospitalized. She had surgery in August, and then shortly thereafter she was hospitalized due to a serious infection that developed. I went to the hospital and I spent two days and a night with her. I was scared. The infection was bad and she had to have surgical intervention to address it. Even though she is only 11 months younger than me, she is my “little” sister. She is doing ok now, but she has been through a lot in her life. Her body gave her two great kids, but it has also caused her great suffering throughout her life. But you would never know it, based on her attitude. She is a fighter- never met anyone like her. So I am catching up and trying to move ahead. How is everyone here?

I made chocolate chip cookies with pecans.
