Good Morning
Numbers 3 :4
4 But Nadab and Abihu died in the presence of the Lord when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai; and they had no children. So Eleazer and Ithamar served as priests in the lifetime of their father Aaron.
Have A Bless Day!

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Good Friday morning everyone. What a week and I'm glad it has settled down. Bryan feeling much better and the change in the meds is working now with no ill effects. That's scary to think that medications can do that. Thankfully, I'm on no meds and hope that can continue as I near the big 7-0 next month. Did a little stitching yesterday, but mostly we spent time outside with the dogs and tended the garden by doing a little weeding and clean up. Wishing everyone a fabulous Friday.

Please laugh… no more crying over injuries... tell me something funny
I had torn a muscle in my leg and was not weightbearing for six days, only for “maintenance” and then with a crutch. May 18 I was using my crutch, leaned on it, and everything went white as my wrist screamed at me. I crushed a whole lot of soft tissue. No use of the arm until the June 16 MRI and June 18 hand surgeon visit. All major ligaments are intact, but the wrist can’t lift even a coffee cup. I’m in a muenster cast (fingers to above elbow) until July 30 when I will be evaluated for surgery. How is this possible?? Anyone else pending reconstructive wrist surgery from a crutch injury? <rolling on the floor laughing tears> emoji

Independence Day Gnome
I bought this pattern from ECS, and finished in time for the 4th of July! I had so much fun making it, and I added the dates to it, to mark our Nation’s Birthday!

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind THURSDAY
Good Thursday morning everyone. Lots of rain again today so an inside day. Things are quiet so far, but it's only 5:30 in the morning. Today I want ordinary and feel gratitude for those ordinary days. Stitching keeps me centered and focused on the present. Have a thankful Thursday.

The fun stuff...MacGyver style - creative problem solving
What creative fixes have you come up with? Like my friend fell and broke her elbow. She couldn't bear the weight of her arm. I happened to notice a new trash bag under the can one. Little tearing... little tying... instant sling! With one arm in a cast, I'm figuring out one-handed crocheting. I must use the damaged side fingers to turn my work, but I can one hand chain, single crochet, and double crochet with two Tunisian (afghan) hooks anchored under my legs. Friends say I'm MacGyver in a Dress. What are your way out of the box accomplishments?
