Susan posts over and over again that we can all have a difference of opinion, but still have a “RESPECTFUL AND CIVILIZED DISCUSSION”. Are you kidding me?? You have pulled other posts, mine included, for making one comment - so why are you allowing these last few to continue? We have lost so many nice people on here because they were fed up with the negativity and name calling. I would love to have had a respectful and civilized discussion with people on this Board, but I was told by a select couple that I wasn’t “American” - therefore I had no right to an opinion and it was “none of my business”. Contrary to their popular belief, what happens in the world affects us all! I hope that ECS values ALL their customers and will put a stop to this once and for all. Good spring eve Thursday morning everyone. I think today I am putting my spring cross stitch projects up. The snow has melted and it's supposed to hit the 70's this weekend. Easter is April 5 and early this year. I am at the halfway point on the dragonfly and should be finished with that next week. Hopefully it will be a typical Thursday with no unwelcome surprises. Have a good Thursday.

For sleeping on the job…

I will be starting a new project today or tomorrow. It will be my first time using silk floss. Is there anything I need to know before I begin? Do you do each x individually like for the specialty threads? Are the silk flosses hard to work with? Do they fray easy so that you have to be extra careful with them? The pattern only tells me that you can use DMC but it won’t turn out as pretty as with the silk flosses. Silk floss is expensive so I don’t want to mess it up.
