What colour grey??
I need help! I have this pattern and want to stitch it. I have the floss...going with the purples. I selected "graceful grey" to stitch it on and eagerly started. Not a good choice!! ☹ The white does not stand out on the grey! Frogged it all! Should I choose another grey? If so, which one? Or just start again and hope the amount of white somehow comes to the forefront? Or go with something else completely? Thanks!! Mary

DMC floss
I have a piece of cross stitch that I'm working on and it calls for several 'numbered' skeins of floss that I cannot find any where in my area. For example - it calls for ones numbered 2665 and 2666. Have you even ever heard of those numbers?

Getting ready for the craft show; any update on SirMaze?
Since I couldn't see well enough to sew for half of this year, my inventory is low for the show. I made a couple reversible table runners. The ornaments and embroidered pillows are leftovers from last year. I'm most excited about the new table topper approx 15"x17". I use a single piece of coordinating fabric for the backing I think at $40 they'll sell well. They're good for round tables, end tables, dressers, centerpieces, and who knows what else.
I haven't heard from SirMaze in the other chat in over a month which is unusual. Last I heard his wife had to stop driving. I pray that he's just really busy and lost in a maze.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind TUESDAY
Good Tuesday morning everyone. Got the house cleaning finished yesterday and stitched all the non-black areas on "Lady Seated at her Needlework" so today it's going to be lots of Anchor 403. Do they still make Anchor floss? Later, a quick store trip to fill up our drinking water and I have a taste for some more red pears. It's looking to be a typical Tuesday and that's fine with me! Have a typical day.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY
Good Wednesday morning everyone. I got my new mermaid pattern yesterday and a bold of 16 ct. cloth in ocean kiss. What a lovely color. I will start it after I finish a row on "Lady". Today will be a trip to our meat market in MIchigan as we are preparing for winter so we won't have to travel and later we decided on steak night, which we try to do once a month. Other than that it's the stitching of black and then I can move on to the next page. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
