Good Wednesday morning everyone. Today is going to be installing mini blinds. The enclosed porch has eight and will take a little while. We got them in an off white color. It was so funny that we decided to do this and what comes on TV but an ad from Menard's that they were on sale this week. Perfect timing. We love to perk up the cottage because winters are long here and we're inside more. The fall weather has been picture perfect lately and in the 70's so maybe the winter won't be so bad. It took almost 2 years to the day, but I finally finished this today. It's off to be framed and I will hang on the wall over where I stitch every day at my table. Artecy patterns are so worth the time they take to stitch.

Can all of these maps be stitched on 14 count aida? I want to do Ireland, Spain, and Scotland and want them all to match. What color aida would you suggest?

I don't know what some other Michael's stores are like in other cities, but all I know is the one here has gone completely downhill. It was dark, narrow and crowded aisles with things that needed to be stocked, and disorganized. The clerk didn't even know where the cross stitch floss was. Fortuately, I found it and it was clear it hadn't been stocked in awhile. To add insult to injury it is now self-check-out only. Sorry, but Michael's will not be getting anymore of my business.

I hope everyone’s having a good week. I’ve been stitching pretty much every day and have it accepted the challenge for the Ronald McDonald house to stitch 30 minutes a day in November so I’m excited about that. Although, I did do the read book every day or chapters every day for Cancer Society unfortunately, I did not accrue many donations, but it was fun all the same! Working on a piece for my newly still in progress, remodeled kitchen I will put a picture down here if I can. My kitchen is gonna be done in blues and grays so this is a vase of blue and yellow flowers which I thought was nice so I’m working on that pretty diligently so maybe it’ll be done in time when the kitchen is done. Hope all is well with everyone on here and everyone is healthy happy and enjoying their stitching projects.
