Hi my friends. Been a few I am revamping my small Christmas village painting them etc, so Monday 10 /6 I reached for a paint tube and my kitty Zoe I scared her she reared up and clawed my right hand, not unusual but this time was different it hurt but not bad Tuesday was sore Wednesday swelling by Friday very red I took my temp Friday nightb102.7 Saturday went b to the emergency room they admitted me CAT SCRATCH FEVER can you believe it. 4 days in the hospital is antibiotics I was released on my birthday 10/14. I'm on pill form antibiotics feel good but not 100 percent.

Happy Friday morning everyone. Another beautiful, brilliant blue sky fall day in store. We have had the most perfect fall that I can remember in a long time. Our Heavenly Blue morning glories are in their glory and are beautiful! (today's pic) We are still getting tomatoes and today is the gathering of herbs to dry. Almost finished with a page on "Lady" - that all black is B-O-R-I-N-G and I can only do a little bit at a time. Stuffed peppers going into the crock pot so I can do the outside stuff. Led us to the shore of the lake, that is Erie…you can really see how little it’s rained…water is really low…or in some places…gone…

Good Thursday morning everyone. Another cool, gray day today and yesterday we didn't go anywhere. So, today will be a short trip to the meat market. It's been pretty routine around here lately and sometimes retirement can be a bit boring, but I'll take it. Have a good Thursday!
