Good Saturday morning everyone. Today is a short trip to the store and my JCS magazine finally arrived and I can stitch the last in the series of seasonal mini-samplers. I love this issue and want to do the Valentine quilt piece. Still waiting on my WOXS magazine. Not much else going on and it's been a peaceful Christmas week. Italian Vegetable Soup

1 7oz. tomato paste with Italian herbs
1/2 head of small cabbage
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic
1 small zucchini
4 chicken bouillon cubes
2 carrot
2 stalks celery
1 cup fresh or frozen spinach
1/4 c. uncooked orzo
1 tsp. of oregano
6-8 cups of water

Put in crock pot and let it cook until vegetables are softened.

Good day after Christmas Friday morning everyone. A very calm day and a long phone call with my youngest son who lives in New Mexico. He wants to move to Alaska and I encouraged him to do so. Tonight will be our leftover baby back ribs so no cooking. Think I'll go through my patterns today and decide which ones will be donated and organize my cross stitch supplies for the new year.
