Charles Craft Gold Standard Aida Fabrics are woven from 100% cotton yarns. This quality fabric is a bit heavier than other Aida fabrics which makes it perfect for those crafters who like to stitch without a hoop. The fabric is available in multiple colors & sizes, so regardless of your project, this Aida will work nicely for you.

DMC Gold Standard Special Cuts:

These aida fabrics come to us from DMC on 60 inch bolts (yes, they are heavy!!). Everything CrossStitch folks then hand cut bolt fabric into the common sizes listed here. These common sizes are almost always in stock and are available every day.

Why are cuts different by Color?

Green, Red, Polar Ice and Yellow are discontinued from DMC. The cuts available are limited to the inventory we have in stock. These colors are available while supplies last!

COVID-19 Limitation:

The crisis is making it difficult to get this fabric from DMC. So, until the crisis is over, available cut sizes will be limited to the inventory we have in stock. We will make more cut sizes available as new inventory arrives. We hope you understand.

DMC Fabrics

are produced in France and imported into the U.S. through DMC-USA in New Jersey. During normal times, we have hundreds of yards in stock for replacement stock constantly on order.

The current world-wide COVID-19 crisis has drastically affected our (and everyone’s) ability to get DMC product. We have the fabric on order, but we honestly have no idea when it will arrive to our shop.

COVID-19 Limitation:

Until DMC Production returns to normal, will can't take orders for out-of-stock fabrics. We simply do not know when it will arrive. We hope you understand and ask for your patience.

Aida Definition:

Aida Cross Stitch Fabric is an open weave, even-weave cotton fabric. It has a natural mesh that facilitates cross stitching and enough natural stiffness that you may not need to use a hoop.

The term Cloth Count defines the size of the weave. The count is the number of weaves, or "Stitches" per inch of fabric. For example, if you stitched a square that was 14x14 stitches on this Aida it would be 1 inch square on the fabric. If you were to stitch the same pattern on 18 count aida, the finished project will be smaller. Stitch it on 11 count aida, it will be bigger.

Large size fabric

Hello, I'm wanting a fabric large enough to make a single bed quilt, so I'd need a piece 145cm wide by 215 cm long. Do you have anything in an off white or white in that size. Or could you recommend where I might be able to find a piece of fabric that size. many thanks Narelle

adia - charles craft - dmc

ok i'm terminology confused. i assumed adia was the i guess i would say the type of fabric, but i thought charles craft and dmc are competitors. like you could get adia cloth from charles craft or dmc. but when i just clicked on 14 count adia, it came up as charles craft. but in my cart it says dmc. can someone help me here? thanks! karen
