The witch is done…she was stinker

This was started back in mid-March and intended to be finished by July 4th. Just didn't happen. For The Love of Cross Stitch is the company and Susana Machado is the designer. I did it on 32 count linen although the pattern calls for one over one on 40 count.
Thank yous for help on this piece go to Pebbles who provided the right shade of DMC 712 when I was in a real spot with lot dyes not matching what I had half way through the project.
To Pam Steine who guessed right that some of my trouble with thread knotting was using too long of a piece of floss!
And thank you to Martzhere for the tip to try railroading to get my stitches straight and help eliminate knots. it worked!!
My DH is very pleased. He picked framing material out and intends to paint it navy blue, I'll post another pic when he has it finished.

Have any of you had this problem lately.....I am going to "Buy it Again " (Amazon ) and nothing happens...you cannot even put it in your cart. When I callled to find out why this is happening, I was told that it was because they were out of stock.....not so. I found the same thing happening with cat food which I always order from them and various other products. I did not even get the choices of cat food I usually ordered. Then it dawned on me. I believe they are on strike ,,,from different places in the country, I am from New York and this is one place it seems to have affected. I wish I wasn't lied to... have any of you had this problem ? I paid close to $150 per year for prime membership....of course everything will be more expensive if they win their battle.

Happy Friday morning everyone. A late start today, but chores are all finished so I can have a day of stitching. Haven't done a whole lot of it lately. We have a few more days of the hot weather and then some pre-fall will be here early next week. Excited about the JCS magazine's fall issue because I want to do their fall season piece. Not much else going on today, so let's have a wonderful Friday.

I followed the recipe posted by Pam. The only difference is I added pecans. I love pecans. They taste scrumptious! Thank you, Pam!

I am working on my Christmas coasters and here I am back in the craft room been out of sorts Tuesday and Wednesday kitty missed me can you tell? Some of you were talking wet food dry food for your kitties well my Zoe hates wet food dry food don't give her Walmart brand more meow mix, she like the Purina mother earth holding a kitty all she'll eat.
