I'm wondering if I must use linen on a pattern that is shown on linen. I've never done it before and would like to use Aida cloth instead.

Hopefully, someone knows the answer.

I am new to caron thread, I am used to DMC floss and Valdani threads size 12. Can you give me a comparison to either of those for Caron thread? Is this a single thread or 3 or 6 ply thread? I noticed you were out of this color and also, #160, are they popular or being discontinued? Thank you

Happy Valentine's Day Saturday everyone! Friday the 13th was a lucky day with only one mishap. I made a chocolate cake from scratch and the first one I forgot to add sugar. I had to throw it out. The second one was perfect. Other good news is I got my Cross Stitcher magazine with the seed packets! YAY! My sister sent me a cute little plaque with our names on it that says "Sisters" and we talked on the phone for over an hour. I can't wait to meet her in person. Have a beautiful Valentine's Day and a day where you give and receive love.

Does anyone know where I can find a cross stitch pattern for a tan and white colored rat terrier dog? A neighbor wants a picture done of her rat terrier. I'm at a loss where to find one.

I have truly enjoyed all the dog stories and picture lately and today's featured meme is of Aloka the peace dog walking with the monks. I love his heart-shaped marking on his head. I know I feel more inner peace since we shut phones and computers down after a culmulative hour a day. I notice it in my breathing and ability to focus and I feel much calmer. Wishing everyone a peaceful day!
