GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning everyone. It's very windy this morning, but it's peaceful. Getting the herb and flower garden raked out was a lot of work yesterday, but we'll have thyme, lavender, sage, and oregano. I left the leaves from the maple tree stay on top of the garden and everything was fertilized well and very green. Same with my tea rose. Needless to say, no stitching yesterday, but today there will be stitching! Hope everyone has a serene Sunday.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning everyone. Today it's supposed to get up to 71 degrees and it will be another day with a lot of time spent outside. Bryan on the mend, but still no test results. They said it could take up to a week to find out. I'm almost finished with the JCS dragonfly pattern and then the backstitching. It's meatloaf tonight as we're still doing soft foods and he's craving something with hamburger in it. Have a good Saturday and weekend.

Debating?!
How much floss does the kit have in it? Are they full skeins or is it just enough to do the project? I'm trying to build my colors back up after unfortunate events led to all of mine being lost. I'm not sure if I should get the kit (I know they use DMC!), or the pattern and my own supplies.

Project Size
Hello: I am on a mission to complete all of my very old projects from the late 80's-90's. Sorry for the well worn pattern. In the 1st image of the Abundance pattern, it shows that the finished size, on 22 count should be 9 3/4th x 2 5/8th. The total stitches is 213 W and 52H. I am using 25 count linen. I am adding 3 " border and 2" finishing. When I use the online calculator, is shows that I need 17 " canvas for the finish project and 27 for my allowances. I am confused as to why, if I am using a higher thread count, why do I need so much canvas? Especially since the pattern says the finished project is 9 3/4th x 2 3/8th. Help! What am I missing. Thank you in advance.
