Good Wednesday morning everyone. Today I pick up my new glasses and this will make stitching a lot easier. I FINALLY finished "A New Constellation"! It took me almost a year, but it takes what it takes. "Queens of Hearts" is next and it will be on 18 ct. Aida. Poppy is busy squirreling this morning because she was so proud of herself bringing that squirrel to Bryan yesterday. How she dragged it through the dog door is beyond me! Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Does anyone have a skein of DMC 712 from say 2 years ago you would be willing to sell to me? I’ve bought 2 skeins recently, one from ECS and one from Hobby Lobby. Both have way more brown in them than the batch I’m using on my current project. I tried using a strand from the new floss and one from the old batch, but it’s still too dark.
Or is there a Sullivan’s match to DMC 712 that would work or another DMC color in the 3000’s that is real close to 712? Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated!! I’m too far along on this project to start over because of both time and money invested.

Had to unpick TONS from first start. (Machine needed servicing)so much delay in getting this one done. Now to trim and do binding!

Good it's already Tuesday morning everyone. Buddy's birthday was fun and a lot of extra play time yesterday and the weather cooperated. I didn't stitch yesterday and that's OK with me. I have other interests like playing my piano, reading, gardening, and as of late creating old recipes into healthier versions. Down 26 pounds in a little over 4 months. What other interests do you guys have when stitching just isn't on the agenda for the day? Have a good second day of the week!
