Good first day of winter Sunday morning everyone and not a drop of snow on the ground this morning. Just a cool wind, but the ground will be clear for the shed. Finishing up on the one of the Crocette a Gogo Christmas ornaments of a gingerbread man and now I'm thinking it's time to make some gingerbread bread. I haven't made that in years. All I need is some molasses. Wishing everyone a happy first day of winter and day full of peace and blessings. Remember to try to find gratitude, even in those small things.

Looking for a different stitch for backgrounds…most of them felt like they distracted from the pattern….this is a basket weave….it was a bit of a challenge, mistakes were made…but easy enough to fix…

Sunday is snowed! 5"! It was beautiful until I had to clean off the car Monday morning. I've been cleaning off my car the exact same way, no gloves, for 12 years. Monday I ended up with frostbite on every single one of my fingertips. What happened?? I've never had that problem before. I'm not going to lose the fingertips, but the burning pain is something I will have to live with for a long time, no estimate how long that will be. I've been soaking my fingers with tepid water and sometimes Epsom salts and wearing gloves almost all the time. Any other suggestions? My doctor was utterly useless.

David never retaliated against Saul, but obeyed God’s command to honor those in authority over him. What David learned from this is 1) vengeance belongs to the Lord and 2) God deals in mercy and grace first, discipline/ vengeance as a last resort. David had acquired a heart of mercy through his struggles with Saul which was a greater reward than becoming king.

Good Saturday morning everyone. I decided to keep a small project bag to work from to do Christmas ornaments and fridge magnets when the full coverage pieces need to take a break. It doesn't matter how long it takes to finish those. I am working on a Crocette a Gogo Christmas ornament today and am loving the way it is shaping up. Other than doing a lot of stitching due to the weather that's been the week so far. Enjoy your weekend. Find things for which to be grateful, even if they seem small.

In the spirit of the holiday season, could you at least refrain from calling people psychotic and bigoted until at least December 26th? I thought Troy's guidelines last year put a stop to this crap, but I guess not. Yes VCESS and Pam, I'm talking about you two, and all the others in your little group who support you. And you can save your vitriol that you've been wanting to hurl at me for the last 12 months, I'm dealing with issues much bigger than any of you and I couldn't give a flying fig what you think about me. Grow up and stop calling other chat room member(s) that you don't even know these ridiculously childish names just because she/they have a different political view from yours. You're supposed to be grown-ass women, try acting like it for a change.

He still in rest home. He still cannot move his right arm and right leg.
I went to see him today. I have missed his laugh. I made him laugh.
Somebody brought him a stuff dog. He wanted it up on the top
of the window. So, I stood in the chair to put it there. And the dog fell
to the floor. He laugh and I laugh and our aunt laugh to. It was
so funny. I had to do it two times just to hear him laugh.
He also says thank you for the prays so do I.
I am so glad I got to heard him laugh.

Good Friday morning everyone. We're back to -5 wind chills, but so far no snow. I'm working on the Mill Hill kit "Advent Trilogy" and making small ornaments for our tree while we tough out this weather. It calls for homemade pizza tonight for comfort food.
