Anyone use different color fabric?

I LOVE this design and the colors used, but the fabric used for the model seems a bit dark. Has anyone stitched this on a different color fabric, and how did you like the results? Thanks, and Happy New Year!

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY

Happy New Year's Eve Wednesday morning everyone! It will be pj's, movies, and stay at home. The roads aren't in good shape here with the snow. What are some of your New Year's Day menu favorites? We're having brats and sauerkraut (Bryan's idea) because he says it's good luck for a new year. We're going to go through our blessing jar and I'm going to read the 365 days of gratitude I wrote every day. I'm keeping that tradition. Have a safe new year's eve and a happy Wednesday.

“Revealed” #26 Jehovah Sabaoth means The Lord of Hosts. The Scripture reference is 1Samuel 1:10-11.
Jehovah Sabaoth is used nearly 300 times in Scripture.In this passage a woman named Hannah is crying out to God for a child. She recognizes Him as The Lord of Hosts not just in the earthly realm, but in the spiritual realm also.She honors the power and Sovereignty of the Lord by talking/ praying directly to Him. God does give her that child, Samuel, whom she dedicates back to God. Samuel becomes a prophet and God’s advisor to King David.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of glory, Who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies. Psalm 24:10 the Amplified Bible

Anyone use different colors?

I LOVE this pattern and saying! But, I think the tan is a bit too muted and and the blues a bit too dark to make it really stand out. Has anyone used different colors of floss, and how did you like the results? Thanks, and Happy New Year!!!

I LOVE this pattern! A great message! Has anyone stitched this, and can you recommend alternate colors, such as with variegated type floss (Weeks Dye Works, etc.), and a color for the fabric? I haven't stitched in a while, and don't completely trust my ability to wing it and have it come out looking good, lol. Thanks, and Happy New Year!!!
