Hi everyone! I'm excited to start chatting with you all. I've been lurking but never posted. I feel my cross stitch addiction would be relatable here and wanted a semi-private group of fellow stitchers to interact with. My name is Andria and am working on my 3rd project for the year after a 30+ year hiatus. Could be more years than that but I didn't want to do the math and lately I can only count as far as ten stitches. 😉 I'd say I'm very much invested in this hobby, surfing this site everyday for what's new and what's on sale. My stash of projects to do is growing fast. I LOVE all the patriotic patterns and currently working on the Red, White and Bloom as in my picture here. Looking forward to getting to know all of you. I find that cross stitching is very therapeutic for me and helps my anxiety, even if it contributes to my insomnia. 🫪 I hope my first post is appropriate and I didn't break any first-post rules by not posting on a dedicated "thread". Good Saturday morning everyone. How about that splashdown? So exciting. We are finally finished with the shed transition and all the stuff in the garage has been hauled away. Mission accomplished! Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 83 and that might be the first lawn mowing of the year. Finishing up another seed packet, too. Looking forward to more warm weather and breaking out the flip flops! Have a super Saturday!

Good Friday morning everyone. Today is the final phase of cleaning out the garage next door we have been renting. Lady Luck was shining on us because tomorrow is the annual free of charge you can take tires, electronics, paints and solvents to the solid waste facility free! I am so glad we have our new shed and don't have to pay rent on the garage for Bryan's car. It's the little things. LOL I am going to make a pot of vegetable soup for later and hopefully get a little stitching in. Have a fantastic Friday!

Finding out how long I can hold my breath…

Good Morning!
I hope everyone is well and in good spirits. Sorry I missed everyone yesterday was a busy day doing the monthly shopping, and then dinner and pull tabs with my friend and her husband. I just tracked my two packages of floss that i gave away and they both are being delivered today, so happy i found people to share with. Well not too much going on today, it is suppose to be beautiful today high in the upper 50's but then rain and storms coming tomorrow thru the week high of 80 on Sunday wow. Ok happy stitching everyone.
