Fabric color
I need advise as to what fabric color would look good with this pattern. Wanting to broaden my horizons and use something besides white. Unless the majority of you think white is best

What does everyone think?
Hi everyone, this is Cheryl. Back to ask a question. I am working on a gift project, I making placemats for a friend. They will startout as holidays, then seasonal. Making them double sided with a different holiday on each side. I ordered 12 15x18 inch fidlers cloth do get started. Making just 2 of each for a dear friend and his new bride. Here's my question. White doesn't show up very well, would you add a gray, pale blue, pale pink strand with the white to help it stand out, or an extra strand of white. What do you all think?

I fell onto my Head...
Hi there Fellow Stitchers! I had two bad falls at home last year, resulting in some strange memory problems and another fall this year landing on my fanny and breaking my back. I am still stitching and am sometimes so frustrated that I get upset and have to stop, which doesn't help.
It's more or less like going back in time. Both my grandmother and my great-grandma did every kind of stitching one could imagine. As a pre-schooler, I was allowed to play with some of the floss making leashes for my toys. Now, at 80, I feel somewhat inadequate as I even have problems with silly stuff. Having given things away over the years, I cannot recall how to recalculate sizes, like converting a pattern from 14 count to 16 count. I am pretty sure that the fabric size is less, but I no longer recall how to figure it out. Can anyone tell me ow to figure this out? Also, how to figure out smaller to larger count.
I am relearning almost everything, it seems, but am better than I was months ago. Thanks for your help!

Vervaco’s Wedding Couple
This is a beautiful wedding picture for the bride and groom as a momento of their special day for years to come. I do have a couple tips before stitching this lovely print. First of all, secure and identify each color. Mine came in a mess and difficult to identify shading colors. Also, view all color signs such as /, -, =, |, etc. as there several locations where they’re grouped together and difficult to differentiate and may have to pull thread and redo to get them right; specifically #’s 4-7 for one specifically. There are others, just be aware. Good luck.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY
Good Wednesday morning everyone. I can't believe it's the middle of the week already and time is moving way too fast lately. I want to take the opportunity this morning to express my appreciation for those who read this daily post, stop by to comment, or just show up from day to day. Time has moved quickly as I have been with ECS for 10 years now, the length of time I've been stitching. I've learned a lot on here from more experienced stitchers as my own stitching journey continues. What are some things you have learned? For me, I've learned how fabrics can make a difference with a project and I have to admit I love fabric. I've learned that I love stitching on Lugana. Those are my thoughts this Wednesday morning. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
