Good Sunday morning everyone. Today will be another day of yard work. The leaves are all off the big maple tree in the back yard so it will be raking and driving the lawn tractor over them to mulch them up. The last two weeks have been super busy, but I did finish my stained glass piece yesterday. The worst part is putting everything away after you finish a project. Pot roast simmering in the crock pot and maybe today after the yard I can get a little stitching in. Have a peaceful and blessed Sunday.

I was introduced to minky fabric a couple weeks ago and fell in love with it. I couldn't stop petting the fabric samples the rep handed me. So I got the idea to make an 8x10 comfort puff with minky on one side and quilting cotton on the other. I want to sew columns, stuff a row with polyfill, sew it closed, repeat until I get to the top. I would tuft each square with a 1/4" satin ribbon with the tails on the cotton side. Sooo comforting to pet, hug, rub the ribbon, or just have it in my lap. It will weigh a pound. I also want a matching weighted lap pad. If you didn't know, I'm autistic and adore soft and weighted things. I can't wait for my material to make the prototype set!

That's my biggest nightmare. I truely dislike working a white thread on white fabric......Yes, I know I could use a darker fabric but I always like to follow the pattern requirements. Am I just silly ? What would you do friends ? So now, when doing snowmen and snow...Grrrrr . But I loooove snowmen and snow...you know what I mean ?

Hi everyone, missed you all so much. my dad and mom hit the 57 year anniversary, in October. We hit #25 in May ...my BFF and I just finished my cross stitch and crocheting while my hubby and pup were busy bodies .

Good Saturday morning everyone. Today will be the last "warm" day and we will be busy clearing out the space for the new shed. Then it will be a trip to where you can dump brush and a few railroad ties. Trying to psych myself up for that job! It's been another busy week and hoping tomorrow can be a little less busy.
