GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind TUESDAY
Good Tuesday morning everyone. I hope all of you enjoyed the long weekend. We changed our minds and bbq'd baby back ribs instead of making a ham. The weather was perfect with not a cloud in the sky and 82 degrees. It was so nice after weeks of dreary gray, cold, and rain. Today promises to be the same. It's a trip to the store for those things you run out of at the end of the month. I am excited that I am almost finished with the second to last row on "Lady", too. I looked in my cross stitch journal and I've been working on her since October of 2024! Have a terrific Tuesday!

Memorial Day.....May we remember the sacrifices of those who didn't come back.
Hi everyone, yep it's me again. I wanted to remember all the men and women who didn't come back and I knew a few, I know more who didn't come back mentally though. Sometimes it was safer for them.
Others who didn't come back physically are few in my life but I pray that everyone here who knows both realize I thank their people from the bottom, of this stitchy heart.
I'm marching in the parade today at the age of 56 (38 minutes long) I did this route many times in my youth. For baseball and scouts and my high school.
But this year with so many things happening throughout these 5 years especially, I'm marching for my dad, (one who fought here, my uncle who is passed away; who came home but physically not so much mentally, for my friends James and Patsy who passed away months of each other in their 80s, who has a grandson who I also march for...he will participate next year.
I have put some stitches in and I will post what I have been doing today.
Well with all of us today I'm remembering a saying I read and one that most can't speak. Every time you see a flag wave remember it's the breath of those who sacrificed with their lives for our liberties and freedoms that we enjoy every day. I hope from now on, I try better everyday not to mock their sacrifices.
