Just a few
Of the photos from the majestic York Minister..!! We spent over an hour and half in there and still didn’t see everything that was there to see! These historic buildings are very difficult to rebuilt. In today’s society people do not have the skills or knowledge on how too rebuild these buildings or know how to use the hand tools that were originally used! This building has its own fire fighter team! In the 1980s there was a fire and due to the skill of a veteran chief fire fighter he made a brave decision and ordered the roof to be collapsed this building was saved! If you look at photo number four these funny little objects that were designed by children and were placed on the new ceiling as a reminder of what was going on in the world during that time. I could go on and on. But please do some research if this interests you and would like more information.

so hard to see
Just ordered Lady Sillouette. The lady (in black) is ok for me to follow but the background with the tree and little blossoms on it is very challenging. Athough I wear 250 reading glasses for all my cross stitching, I found that these glasses may not be enough. I am wondering about magnification. I see these contraptions that are worn around your neck. Will this work for me ? I am wondering if any of you lovely ladies can clue me in on what the best thing to get for this problem I have. I love the pattern and really want to do this !

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning everyone. Today may be the last bearable day before the heat wave hits. A quick mowing is in order and some weeding and then next week we'll be watering. My patterns came yesterday and I can stitch the top for the little chest I ordered. I think I'm going to do the one that says "Dream". Wishing everyone a blessed and serene Sunday.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning everyone. Yet another week that went very quickly. Monday is the start of super dangerous heat that will last through next week. We are going to take advantage of the next two heatless days. Tonight we're going to have the first corn on the cob of the year from Georgia. Our Indiana corn isn't ready until early end of July/early August. Stitching on "Lady" and only 4 more short pages to go and the end is in sight! Wishing everyone a good weekend.

Good Afternoon
Numbers 3: 5 - 10
5 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
6 "Bring the tribe of Levi forward and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him.
7 They shall perform the duties for him and for the whole congregation in front of the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8 They shall also take care of all the furnishing of the tent of meeting, along with the duties of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
9 So you shall assign the Levites to Aaron and to his sons; they are exclusively assigned to him from the sons of Israel.
10 So you shall appoint Aaron and his sons that they may keep their priesthood, but the layman who comes near shall be put to death."
