Good Sunday morning everyone. Yesterday we discovered a large nest of yellow jackets and discovered where Buddy got stung near his eye the other day. We mixed up a solution of Dawn dish soap and water and sprayed the area and inside the nest they made inside one of our railroad ties that border one of our gardens. It works like a charm and you don't have to spray something that is harmful to ourselves or our dogs. It's still very humid and uncomfortable for much outside so it's an inside day here. Have a serene Sunday.

Working on getting George Decorates for Martha by Plum Street Samplers for Autumn. Love this design. I am determined to finish some projects before starting new ones. I have so many WIP's that I really need to finish some off. I have a few new ones that I am really excited to start. I figured not only does this motivate me to get them done but also a reward to start new ones!
I have two new Plum street George and Martha pieces and also just received A series for John and Abigail Adams and Peacefield. It came with bonus pieces of their first homes and individual charts for both people! If you haven't guessed I am a history nerd! LOL

Hi friends! No health issues to report... finally! Here's my new project, friendship chickens and hippie chicks. I find a crocheted chicken to be so completely absurd that it's hysterical. If you have a friend having a rough time, give her a friendship chicken. Who can resist laughing at the silly creatures? Their wings are pockets so you can write an encouraging to note to your friend and tuck it in her wing. It's hard to imagine the colorful long haired hippie chicks will grow up to be hens. We'll see. They sure are fun to make! Have a blessed weekend, everyone! Don't forget to smile!

Okay I had a tremor Thursday last about an hour.
New symptom now I do raspberry. Also make a sound like
a motorcycle. So continue to pray for me. Thank you!

Good Friday morning everyone. The mattress arrived around 6:00 last night and we both slept a lot better. It's amazing what a new mattress can do for sleep. Poppy is smaller and is using her new stairs. Buddy could care less about them. It's supposed to be very rainy and humid the next few days so I'll start on some pre-fall cleaning. I am at the quarter point on "Winter Cardinals" and am in the winter stitching mood so next might be some ornaments! Have a fantastic Friday and good weekend!
