Good Sunday morning everyone! I want to welcome all the new people coming on the ECS chat board. Today it's the upper 70's and I'm really looking forward to that. Bryan's sister wants us to move to Florida and we're really tempted after this winter. We have to get his health issues out of the way first before considering that. Today I'm finishing up the marigold on my seed packet pattern. No cooking because we have leftover vegetable beef soup and the first strawberry shortcake of the season. Hi everyone! I'm excited to start chatting with you all. I've been lurking but never posted. I feel my cross stitch addiction would be relatable here and wanted a semi-private group of fellow stitchers to interact with. My name is Andria and am working on my 3rd project for the year after a 30+ year hiatus. Could be more years than that but I didn't want to do the math and lately I can only count as far as ten stitches. 😉 I'd say I'm very much invested in this hobby, surfing this site everyday for what's new and what's on sale. My stash of projects to do is growing fast. I LOVE all the patriotic patterns and currently working on the Red, White and Bloom as in my picture here. Looking forward to getting to know all of you. I find that cross stitching is very therapeutic for me and helps my anxiety, even if it contributes to my insomnia. 🫪 I hope my first post is appropriate and I didn't break any first-post rules by not posting on a dedicated "thread".
