We are having a heat wave 🎶
UGH!!
The temporary break in heat and humidity has disappeared! No wind to bring relief. The AC is continuously on. We went out to add mulch to the flower beds this morning. A BIG mistake. We lasted a half-hour outside.

A Boost of Apple Happiness!
For 12 years I've lived in the same 12-unit apartment building. For about the last 6, I've been trying to make the building more of a community. People move in and out so fast, but I try to welcome each one with fresh apple juice and offer free refills. In 6 years, nothing. Until yesterday... I came home to a bag on my doorknob with a jar inside! The neighbor's 10-12 yo son drew an apple and colored it in. So realistic! She wrote a thank you note on the back! This jar with its apple is going on my bookshelf. =^..^=
