Hello my Friends!
Well…I’M DOING IT!! At 66yrs old, I am going back to school to get my RN degree!! I’ve been an LPN since 1989!! It’s time!! I am SO EXCITED!!

Of course this will require that we move from North Fort Myers up to Tampa, but that’s ok!! Things just started falling into place!

When we came through Tampa earlier, we couldn’t find anything that we could afford to rent to live in. So we kept heading south. Now? I’m finding ALL KINDS of rentals in our budget!! When God works….He takes care of it all!!

Good morning and happy Sunday everyone. Today is going to be quiet except for learning how to do a Zoom meeting. Bryan actually got called for a first audition for "Wheel of Fortune" and he has a 10 minute interview tomorrow at 2:00 via Zoom. If he makes it on that one then he'll have a second audition to play a mock game. When we went to the live show last Sunday he scanned a code, took his picture, and filled out an application. This was a surprise for sure. They get about a million applications, but only about 10,000 even get called for a first audition. He was on Judge Judy back in 2012 about a guy who was breeding double dapple Dachshunds. Anyway, today we learn to Zoom. Have a good Sunday!

Good Saturday morning everyone. The rain is gone for now, but still cold. I keep hearing the song "Hello Darkness My Old Friend" now because it's dark for a long time in the morning and in the evening. Not much going on today except a few chores. Thinking of doing a Mill Hill Christmas ornament today. Have a sunny Saturday!

Hey 👋🏽 Did I tell you about the flu shot from hell? About 3 weeks ago I went to take the flu shot. Although the flu shot and the Covid shot can be given at the same time, my doctor advised against it- he told me to take one at a time. So, I took the flu shot. I was told that due to my age 🙄 I should take the stronger dose geared for us. Ok. No side effects at first, then BANG ‼️ My face broke out. Red, swollen, etc. I looked disfigured. Was in pain. Took Benadryl but did not get much relief. It took over a week to settle down. I was a hot mess. Not sure if it was the shot itself or the extra dose that did me in, but what a disaster. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I am ok now but what a situation.
