Hi everyone! I'm excited to start chatting with you all. I've been lurking but never posted. I feel my cross stitch addiction would be relatable here and wanted a semi-private group of fellow stitchers to interact with. My name is Andria and am working on my 3rd project for the year after a 30+ year hiatus. Could be more years than that but I didn't want to do the math and lately I can only count as far as ten stitches. 😉 I'd say I'm very much invested in this hobby, surfing this site everyday for what's new and what's on sale. My stash of projects to do is growing fast. I LOVE all the patriotic patterns and currently working on the Red, White and Bloom as in my picture here. Looking forward to getting to know all of you. I find that cross stitching is very therapeutic for me and helps my anxiety, even if it contributes to my insomnia. 🫪 I hope my first post is appropriate and I didn't break any first-post rules by not posting on a dedicated "thread". I got some stitching done yesterday on the female cardinal and am going to go back again today and work some more. I also got 4 more new patterns in the mail . Well it is suppose to rain here today and tomorrow in the 80's go figure . Have a great weekend everyone.

Good Saturday morning everyone. How about that splashdown? So exciting. We are finally finished with the shed transition and all the stuff in the garage has been hauled away. Mission accomplished! Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 83 and that might be the first lawn mowing of the year. Finishing up another seed packet, too. Looking forward to more warm weather and breaking out the flip flops! Have a super Saturday!
