A couple of weeks ago we went to Peterborough Cathedral. It’s a short 20 minute train ride from where we live. There’s a a section Catherine of Aragon didn’t realise she introduced cross stitch to the UK 🤷🏻‍♀️ there’s a cross stitch picture of her no information who did that. As I was walking around I noticed a group of ladies working on a cross stitch project. It will be a replica of the long ceiling. It’s rolled up on the scroll frame and is actually tent stitch on 18 count Adia it’s taken a group of 20 ladies 8 years to complete. It’s should be finished by mid September. Once it’s been framed and decided where best to hang it to preserve it inside the cathedral then the Bishop will come and do the honours. It’s open to the public so hopefully I will be able to go.! I hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

It has been a while. I would say a couple years since I’ve been on this chitchat. It was nothing personal to anyone. I just had a job that allowed me to be on my computer doing the chitchat and then when I left that job I wasn’t able to be on it as much. I don’t know if all of any of you remember me, lady J also known Jacquie. When I first started on this chat board many years ago I remember telling everyone about my puppies, Hazel and Hunter. Well they just both turned nine on July 10, 2026 but sadly, Hunter was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer although he was on chemo for about two months. We lost him the other day August 5, 2026. I wanted to let you guys know because a lot of you might remember him and I will try to put a picture of him up on this page. I will try to post more and read more of everyone else’s post. I’m glad to be back.
