Yrsterday, had new countertop installed in my kitchen. Looks great. However, it took such a long time ,and because I couldn't leave the house, I was able to finish a Haloween blanket I crocheted for my little great grandson. Then I was able to create a new granny square pattern I will be making for my little great grandaughter. Now, since my countertop needs a little adjustment and he ( the installer) will be back again this morning, I will continue the adorable cross stitch (Woodland Holiday Sampler ) I got from ECS...I love it ! just finishing the legs on the deer. This one's for ME...AHA

I am not sure i like the contrast as I think the spearmint is to light. The color wheel said they should match up together. I would like a darker green to go with the teal but that is my opinion.

my granny square afghan for my sil as a thank you for taking me to all my Dr appointments. I will find out about how the brain is working on Monday. I haven't had any seizures since May but i still can't drive due to state law. I am hoping to be cleared to drive again in November. The afghan will be a surprise for her. She didn't know she picked the colors for it by unintentionally looking at my yarn stash. Once I finish it the measurements will be 6 feet by 6 feet hopefully enough to cover her queen sized bed. This will be my second afghan of this size. Cross stitch has taken a back seat to the crocheting.
