Good Thursday morning everyone. Welcome to a winter wonderland and we have 18 inches of snow with 2 to 3 foot snow drifts. Schools are closed. Thankfully, we're well-prepared for this. Truly enjoying my spring cardinals stitch, but spring seems a long way off. Enjoy your Thursday. We'll be digging ourselves out and making paths for the pups.

Leviticus 9: 1- 4


1 Now it came about on the
eighth day Moses called Aaron
and his sons and the elders of Israel;


2 and he said to Aaron, "Take for yourself
a calf, a bull, as a sin offering and a ram
as a burnt offering, both without defect,
and offer them before the Lord.


3 Then you shall speak to the sons of Israel,
saying, "Take a male goat as a sin offering,
and a calf and a lamb, both one year old, without
defect, as a burnt offering,


4 and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice
before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil;
for today the Lord will appear to you."

These came yesterday, they also came with a pattern with symbols, and DMC colors list…so it’s kind of a needle point cross stitch combo…I’m itching to get started….but I kind of promised myself I would finish the backgrounds before I started any thing else….maybe I’ll just finish the one I’ve already started….

What is the size and how many colors?

Is this a good pattern for a beginner? Does it use only full cross stitches or any special stitches? How many threads or colors does this pattern call for?

Would this pattern make a trifold card?

Good Wednesday morning everyone. We are under a winter storm warning so here we go again with the white stuff. Yesterday, I started on the Imaginating pattern "Spring Cardinals". i needed something cheerful instead of the black. I honestly couldn't endure another day of it. Tonight is homemade pizza night and we are off to the store for the Italian sausage our store makes and some bell peppers. I know, not very exciting, but grateful for our simple lives.
