Good Friday first day of May morning everyone. It's that time of the month when it's shopping and paying bills again. We are actually coming out a little ahead. I'm still stitching on the Imaginating American sampler and I'm almost finished with page 1. It hasn't been too bad stitching with the light effects floss. I was happy to see specialty flosses on marked down this month, too. Have a fabulous Friday and good weekend.

Farewell to the month of April, Hello to May. It's the beginning of the month, time to share what we've been stitching on or have finished in the past few weeks!

Good Thursday morning everyone. A very late start this morning, but we were up late having one of those talks about end of life issues. Very sobering, but necessary because sadly Bryan is not well. Today I'm making vegetable beef soup as we are experiencing a cool snap. I can't believe April is over because this past month went by a little too quickly. Have a thankful Thursday, count your blessings, and live and love freely.

Leviticus 25: 6 -10


6 All of you have the Sabbath produce of the land as food;
for yourself, your male and female slaves, and your hired
worker and your foreign resident. those who live as strangers
among you.


7 Even your cattle and the animals that are in your land shall
have all its produce to eat.


8 'You are also to count off seven Sabbaths of years for yourself,
seven times seven years, so that you have the time of the seven
Sabbaths of years, that is, forty-nine years.


9 You shall then sound a ram's horn abroad on the tenth day of
the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall sound a horn
all through your land.


10 So you shall consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim a release
throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee
for you, and each of you shall return to his own property,
and each of you shall return to his family.
