I have made 6 of Sandy Ortons Christmas Stockings with patterns from the magazine Cross Stitch and Country Crafts. I made one for each of our grandchildren and now I am making the same stockings for our great grandchildren! They are absolutely beautiful when completed!

I had an infusion for osteoporosis yesterday. A bone density test earlier this month showed that I had progressed to the top of the peri bracket. My doctor recommended getting a jump start on a yearly infusion. Sometime after midnight I began having a reaction to it. I feel AWFUL!! The hospital pharmacist said it happens to a small percentage of people and it would last another 48 hours. Has anyone else had this infusion with these results? I’m just wondering if reactions are more prominent than the pharmacist said.

Just saw Mary C's Santa. Wow Wow Wow. Not to compare it with Lady Sillouette I am now working on. Just about finished the lady and acouple of smaller objects. But I am now looking at the background with leaves and flowers and wondering, "Can I really do this " ? I only work on 14 ct. But this Santa is so exquisite as many of yours are. and don't know how she did it. Wow. I hope I can muster up the energy to finish this project. I really love it and will try try try. So tell me ladies, where do you find the energy and determination to finish these works of art. ? I don't like WIPS....Rather than finish something I don't want, I will either discard it or give it away I'm BAD !!

Good Friday morning everyone and happy August eve. It looks like I have to go for jury duty August 10th. I have never served on a jury before so it will be a new experience. If I get selected I'll gladly serve. The new sidewalk project is coming along beautifully and what they have completed looks so nice and spruces up this block a lot. Today I'm stitching on "Autumn Cardinals". I have finished the first quarter section and will backstitch that are today before moving on to the next section.
