To buy or not to buy?
Happy New Year! Maddie cat and I made it to 8:30 and watched the ball drop this morning. I saw a completed cross stitch on Facebook with a link to a pattern that I would love to buy, however it is from a website I have never bought from or heard of. I only buy from ECS or Artecy as I am leary of buying online especially one on Facebook. The pattern is called "Winter cat cross stitch" being sold buy ballwool.com, I also found the pattern on Etsy being sold buy "Stitches for you." Has anybody heard of or used either one of these websites? Are they reputable? It is a download only pattern which also has me leary. Advice please!

Jan 2026 WIP (Work in Progress) 'Show and Tell'
Hello everyone -- Happy New Year! It's the beginning of not only a new year, but of course also a new month. As we always do at the beginning of the month, let's share what we've been stitching on during the past few weeks and what we've recently finished.
Post a photo and brief description (pattern name + designer or publisher); if you prefer not to post a photo or it's difficult to do, just tell us in words about your stitching!
I wish everyone well in the new year, and hope 2026 brings fulfilling stitching to us all!

SAL complete
I was wondering what others were going to make their finished piece into. I'm thinking a pillow but not sure.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Good Friday morning everyone. Well, it's back to business today and we have some errands to run. Later it's spaghetti sauce to make and some stitching after we put everything away. Time to change the furnace filter, too. Looking forward to the super moon rising and hope the sky is clear. Have a fabulous Friday.

“Revealed” #28 Jehovah Shammah means The Lord is There. The Scripture reference is Ezekiel 48:35b. Jehovah Shammah not only indicates the Lord’s presence, but also represents a place: the New Jerusalem in Revelation 3:12. Much of the book of Ezekiel has to do with prophecy concerning Israel and the End Times. For all who believe, Jehovah Shammah is our past, present, and future. Don’t hesitate to call upon His name…….The Lord is There.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY
Happy New Year's Eve Wednesday morning everyone! It will be pj's, movies, and stay at home. The roads aren't in good shape here with the snow. What are some of your New Year's Day menu favorites? We're having brats and sauerkraut (Bryan's idea) because he says it's good luck for a new year. We're going to go through our blessing jar and I'm going to read the 365 days of gratitude I wrote every day. I'm keeping that tradition. Have a safe new year's eve and a happy Wednesday.
