I really loved this pattern and am pleased to add to our fall decorations!

Good morning this finally Friday morning. It's been a busy week and I haven't gotten much stitching accomplished, but the outside pre-winter chores are getting done. I see squirrels scurrying around with nuts in their mouths running along our fence and it's driving our dogs crazy. Today is stuffed pepper day so no cooking involved and I can relax and stitch to my heart's content and finish this month's ECS freebie. Have a wonderful Friday the 13th. It will be a lucky day!

Anyone suffering from friggatriskaidekaphobia?

First: a huge thank you to all who shared ideas/solutions to my last question about Colorworks floss.
Here's my new dilemma: has anyone worked the Annie Beez Folk Art chart called "Count Your Blessings"? It seems there are a couple of symbols that were omitted from the color chart on the back of the leaflet. Wondering if anyone knows the corresponding colors (DMC) for the small double diamonds (one set solid, the other set open) on the house and throughout the chart.

I received a call from THE LIONS CLUB they are going to pay the 365.00 for my cataract surgery Medicare pays all but 365.00. This organization is awesome they paid for my first and my husbands 2 this is a fantastic organization

I just got a phone call (2 actually) from a neighbor that I haven’t spoken to in 2 years. (I wrote her off the day she complained that I hadn’t put cat treats in the bag of goodies I gave her for Christmas…) She has never called me, unless she wanted something….or my husband to do something ,tonight she wanted a ride to a doctor appointment at 3:00 tomorrow…I told her no, and hung up…she called back, wanted to know if “there was something wrong”…my response…” haven’t heard from you for 2 years, you don’t even wave when you see us in the yard or say hello, and you didn’t even have the decency to call us when Mabel died…but you call and ask for a favor? don’t ever call me again” and then I blocked her number…I’m absolutely flabbergasted by the nerve of some people…
Rant over, blood pressure back in the normal range…

Exodus 18: 11 -15


11 "Now I know that Lord is
greater than all the gods;
for in the very thing in which
they behaved proudly,
He was above them.


12 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in -law,
took a burnt offering and other
sacrifices to offer to God. And
Aaron came with all the elders of
Israel to eat bread with Moses'
father-in-law before God.


13 And so it was, on the next day,
that Moses sat to judge the people;
and the people stood before Moses
from morning until evening.


14 So when Moses' father-in-law saw
all that he did for the people, he said,
"What is this thing that you are doing
for the people? Why do you alone
sit, and all the people stand before
you from morning until evening?"


15 And Moses said to his father-in-law,
"Because the people come to
me inquire of God.
