The Meatball Song
Hi Vcess. I recalled the beginning of that song and part of the end. OK, here it goes, "On top of spaghetti All covered with cheese I lost my poor meatball When somebody sneezed It fell on the floor And rolled out the door." I wish I could remember the rest. I t was a great song for singing at inappropriate times to irritate parents. Oops, I meant entertain. Thanks for bringing back the memory.

Our version ended... it rolled off the table, and on to the floor. Then my poor meatball rolled out of the door and under a bush. Than my poor meatball was nothing but mush.

On top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese
I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed.
It rolled off the table and onto the floor,
And then my poor meatball rolled out of the door.
It rolled in the garden and under a bush,
And now my poor meatball is nothing but mush.

Now, does anyone remember the Titanic song?
It started, "Oh, they built the great Titanic to sail the ocean blue..."

Just realized I forgot the garden part. Don’t know the Titanic one.

The Italian kids at school taught us all that song in the cafeteria in junior high when we had spaghetti one day. Pam

.........And they thought theyd built a ship that the water would never go through.
But the good Lord raised his hand, said that ship would never land,
It was sad when the great ship went down.
Oh it was sad, so sad, it was sad, so sad,
It was sad when the great ship went down,
To the bottom of the.....
Husbands and wives, little children lost their lives...it was sad when the great ship went down.
Kerplunk, she sunk, to the bottom of the .....gurgle, gurgle, gurgle- plop!?

That's the version we sang, to the best of my remembrance.😃
