Colors are not true, the blue roofs are really grey. There is NO detail. Easy to tell the company did not stitch this, They just took a pretty picture and ran it through a pattern maker.

Don't know how many times I have been disappointed by a design for this very reason----doesn't look like the painting because the designer didn't finish their work. Some things just require a little detail such as glints in the eyes and outlining to 'lift' something up---or maybe a little shaping with half-crosses. I ABSOLUTELY don't order from certain designers for this very reason.

I am thinking about working on a pattern instead of a kit for the first time. Is the floss, listed under the supplies for particular patterns, the only floss required in the pattern?
