A little Disappointed

Ordered 1 yd of the Antique white, but didn't realize until after I ordered when it was on my receipt that the bolt was only 25" x 36" (got 1 yrd). Not sure why at the top it says bolts are either 51" or 43" but mine was only 25. Second, I received the product in good time, but it was not contained in any plastic or anything protective, just in the box with the other items. It has a few dirt smudges around the edges now, I guess from the ink printing inside the box, or maybe something else was dirty, I'm not sure, but I'll have to clean it now. If you're going to charge someone almost $40 for a piece of fabric, please consider protecting it better. I really wanted to like this site, but not sure I'll be ordering again.

I am looking at purchasing the 1 yard at 51" but I am a little confused...does it mean it is 36" (which is a measured yard) by 51" or what exactly? Thanks!

using aida instead of linen

how does one figure the difference or convert the linen to an aida cloth? I'm not keen on working on linen and would prefer aida but not sure how to convert to get the correct size

What the difference in the "count." Is 14 count Aida larger or smaller than 20 count. I always get this confused. Thanks!

Comparing fabric

Hi...can anyone tell me how ‘stiff’ this fabric is please? I like the DMC Magic Guide because of the stiffness, but I’m looking for a 20 count in grey and this seems to be it. I find I can’t work on a fabric that is too ‘floppy’. Thank you :)
