GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning everyone. Very windy this morning, but it felt refreshing. Today it's a short trip to the Wally World and I'm going to look for some simple 8x10 wooden frames for the daisy and poppy projects. Oh the exciting life we lead, but it's better than the alternative. Have an excellent day and weekend!

Memorizing phone numbers
Recently I couldn't see well enough to dial the phone. I couldn't get to or read my contacts list. Fortunately, I memorized phone numbers before the surgery. It took trial and error to hit the right buttons on my flip phone. What would you do if you lost your smartphone and all of your contacts were gone? I'm writing out a backup list Saturday. I find it disconcerting that neither my mother, nor my father have my number memorized. I've had this number for over 10 years. Am I the only one who goes old school and memorizes phone numbers?
Update: Back to embroidery!
I have discovered that it's possible to machine embroider even when you can't exactly see well. 2024: The Year of the Sparkle is getting a late start due to the eye surgery, but here's a sparkly piece I just finished. I chose the colors and stitched the cherry blossoms with metallic thread. I don't want to sell it.

Good morning
Genesis 39: 11 - 23
11 But it happened about this time,
when Joseph went into the house
to do his work, and none of the men
of the house was inside,
12 that she caught him by his garment,
saying, "Lie with me." But he left
his garment in her hand, and
fled and ran outside.
13 And so it was, when she saw
that he had left his garment in her
hand and fled outside,
14 that she called to the men of
her house and spoke to them,
saying ,"See, he has brought in to us a
Hebrew to mock us. He came in to
me to lie with me, and I cried out
with a loud voice.
15 "And it happened, when he
heard that I lifted my voice and
cried out, that he left his garment
with me, and fled and went outside."
16 So she kept his garment with her
until his master came home.
17 Then she spoke to him with words
like these, saying, "The Hebrew servant
whom you brought to us came in to mock me;
18 "so it happened, as I lifted my voice and
cried out, that he left his garment with me
and fled outside."
19 So it was, when his master heard
the words which his wife spoke to
him, saying, "Your servant did to
me after this manner,"
that his anger was aroused.
20 Then Joseph's master took him
and put him into prison, a place
where the king's prisoners were
confined. And he was there in the prison.
21 But the Lord was with Joseph and
showed him mercy, and He gave
him favor in the sight of the keeper
of the prison.
22 And the keeper of the prison committed
to Joseph's hand all the prisoners who
were in the prison; whatever they did
there, it was his doing.
23 The keeper of the prison did not
look into anything that was under
Joseph's authority, because the Lord
was with him; and whatever he did,
the Lord made it prosper.
Have a bless day!

Old Glory finish
I recently finished Old Glory, from Kitty & Me's Colorful Eagles line. I previously stitched Patriot. I think they look striking together!
TROY
I’m still not getting my email notifications when I post a new chat. Some days I will get one or two, other days I get none. I have to go to the chat board to see the replies. The check mark is definitely on. Can you help with this? Thanks!
Floss type
Regarding the project “Patriotic Love Birds” what is exactly floss “01 white tin”? Is it the same as Marlitt? Also what is floss “Kreinik 210 gold dust”?

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Happy rainy Friday everyone. We're in for a weather cool down and planting our wildflower seeds has to wait until the middle to end of May. So, no Mother's Day planting -- more like Memorial Day. I'll content myself with stitching flowers. The flowers must be getting to me because last night I dreamed about ivy and gardenias! Daisies is at the half-way point and my "Touch of Blue" 32 ct. fabric came yesterday for the morning glories. Dreaming of warmer days ahead! Have a great day and good upcoming weekend.
