Dreidelsa Cross Stitch Pattern by Linda Jeanne Jenkins

I was very excited to see new Chanukah patterns. This is a great pattern. however, the letters are reversed. Hebrew is written and ready from right to left (English is left to right). If anyone who does not know Hebrew would like to stitch it for a Jewish friend, please reverse the letters and wording. The words NES GADOL HAYA SHAM translates into English as A Great Miracle Happened There. A dreidel is a top that is played with during Chanukah. The miracle is -- Judah Maccabee and his brothers reclaimed the Temple from the Romans. There was only enough holy oil to burn for one day. The miracle was that the oil lasted for eight days which was how long it took to get more holy oil. MISS C -- what do you think? There is also a new Menorah pattern that I like.
