Elizabeth Clipperton's Christmas Cushion, 1824a Cross Stitch Pattern by Crowsfeetstitching

The chart measures 123 stitches wide by 72 high. The pattern is stitched in full cross stitch and is suitable for aida and linen. Elizabeth Clipperton’s sampler was stitched in Norfolk in 1824. Whilst I was charting the sampler, I thought that the lower part of the sampler really lent itself to a Christmas reworking. It has Christmas trees, deer (to which I had to add a red nose), and a berry border which really looks to me like fairy light bulbs on a wire.
