Stitch Count: 145 × 90 14 ct (over 1) or 28 ct (over 2) - 10.4 x 6.4 in. 16 ct (over 1) or 32 ct (over 2) - 9.1 x 5.6 in. 18 ct (over 1) or 36 ct (over 2) - 8.1 × 5 in. 40 ct (over 2) - 7.2 × 4.5 in. Feliz Navidad rings with the bright colors of a Mexican Christmas, just like the traditional Christmas song. The bands were taken from an antique Mexican Sampler. The chart pack also includes the design with the words Merry Christmas charted in the center. The model is stitched on 40 ct Havana by Weeks Dye Works using one strand of the called-for overdyed floss over two linen threads. My thanks go out to Raymond Jenkinson for his wonderful work in stitching the model. Alternative fabrics: This design would be lovely stitched on a lighter cream or white fabric as well.
