Kreinik Japan threads are synthetic; non-tarnishing gimps available in gold; silver and copper. These threads are excellent for fine stitching; outlining; couching or laid work. The sheen is very bright; clean and smooth to offer the look of real gold; silver and copper. The #1 thread is blister carded on a spool but all other Japan Threads are skeined. Japan Thread is recommended for needlepoint; cross-stitch; surface embroidery; smocking; quilting and couching. Japan Thread is dry cleanable only. 44 yard spool. Made in USA.
