Hi again, I was also wondering if anyone had recommendations of which brand Aida would be most suitable for a Christmas stocking...I do want it a bit stiff so it will hold its shape throughout the years, but not so stiff that it feels like plastic

I usually just work from kits and don’t need to worry about fabric size. I bought a pattern and I’m so confused on what size fabric to get. The pattern is for 18 count but I want to do it on 14. This is the measurements that the pattern is. Chart Size: 246 x 255 Stitches Finished Size: 347 x 360 mm or 13.7 x 14.2 inch Fabric Size: 497 x 510 mm or 19.6 x 20.1 inch Stitch Style: Cross stitch

I am looking for 14 count aida in the color "mushroom". The fabric that I have used before was the Charles Craft brand, but any brand with a color that's close to that is fine.

There is a piece I want to stitch-it says use 28 ct Cashel Linen and stitch over 2 threads. I have never used linen before. If I use Aida cloth, would I need the 14ct to make it the same size? Thank you.
