From the designer: "For this pattern I wanted to capture the magic of old Victorian and Edwardian Christmas cards. I love the rich jewel-like colours that they used, and the way that they made the evergreen foliage come to life. Santa is dressed in an old-fashioned robe comparable to pictures of earlier Father Christmas figures."
