Hometown Holiday - My Housea Cross Stitch Pattern by Little House Needleworks

I did this as a Christmas gift. I changed the colors to look more like their house. I added their name and they loved it.

I wanted this for friends who had recently built and moved into a beautiful new home. I stitched it on light blue 14 count Aida, changed the colours to copy their actual house, eliminated the birds, added sparkly stars with gold metallic thread and made it a evening scene. It came out beautifully and I'm in the process of making another, reversing the placement of the garage to the other side of the house for my son & his family. It would be beautiful as it is but it's very easy and so much fun to change the colours or the positioning if you want to copy a beloved home and gift it to the owners.
