Ice Cardinala Cross Stitch Kit by Dimensions

This is absolutely beautiful when stitched up. It has a lovely 3 dimensional quality when finished.

I too was put off by the black background, in which it is very hard to see the holes. So I found “Picture This Plus 14 ct Hand dyed” fabric on this site to substitute, by which I mean I bought separately and used instead. It was so much easier to work, and complimented the artistry of the pattern spectacularly!

Everything was in the kit and generally works well! It looks great and the pattern is easy to read. The "floss organizer" is a little annoying, but it's easy to work around. My only complaint would be that the aida is kind of low quality, but for the price it's really not bad.

Just receive my project. The black material is almost impossible to work with can't see to count the squares. I switched to a cream fabric.

Very pretty, can't wait to get started.
