In the Pink was inspired by a gradient NPI silk pack. The colors were so perfect together! I had also just received this linen from Mason Linens, and when I held the threads against the linen, I knew I needed to design something using them together. Since the colors were so soft and delicate, the design needed to be soft and delicate, too. I love the tone on tone look of the brown silk against the fabric and the gradations of the pink are a perfect complement. Happy Stitching! The model is stitched on 40 ct Button Box Dark by Mason Linens using the called for silk. Alternative fabrics: This design would be lovely stitched on any dark or medium brown or neutral fabric. I recommend staying away from lighter-colored fabrics because it would compete with the colors in the design.
