Kiwi Santaa Cross Stitch Kit by Mill Hill

Just opened this kit to start it for a Christmas gift. There are 27 colors of floss, and they are not separated - you have to figure out the colors yourself. Likewise, there is one package of glass beads, each being about the size of a poppy seed. You have to separate them into the 4 different colors. The directions say the "... beads are attached with a cross stitch going through each bead twice so that it lies vertically." I haven't tried attaching one yet, but that sounds tricky. I'm going to try following the directions, but I'm already thinking I may just skip the beads altogether! I purchased a total of 5 similar ornaments from this company, so I hope they are easier to do than it seems right now.
