The cushion is inspired by a sampler I own that was stitched by May B Thompson, from Lancashire, in 1878. The chart for the cushion measures 157 wide and 81 stitches high. The model is stitched on 28 count Biscuit linen by Roxy Floss using Roxy Floss thread. The pattern is stitched in full cross stitches.
