confuse about over 2
Hi I have little experience in cross stitching and my question is what is mean over 2 in this pattern. " Project Size: 24.0" x 26.6" on 25cnt (over 2)." I get confuse about this.. Any reply is much appreciated.. Thank you!

fabric
I have no idea how to choose fabric for this project. The stitch size is 300w by 375h, but that is not enough to choose fabric with the fabric calculator. Any help or suggestions would be great.
