I did this one for myself
I usually do projects with someone else in mind. This project was for me. I made the hair color match mine. I love the outlook. It was simple enough to do, but interesting enough to be challenging.

DMC Floss replacements
I've been working on this project for some time (nearly finished) - I decided to do the bath is a nice old fashioned DMC green I had. I ran out of floss before I had finished and went to buy another hank; BUT the replacement was nothing like the original. DMC have changed the colours and numbers of a lot of their floss. I eventually found an Anchor one that was a good match. Also with this project I advise working all the clouds in white (before topstitching) - it looks odd with such a big expanse being left unworked.

My Day Off
I've finished about half of this project - it's my long term project as I'm doing other pieces in between. I love this scene - it will suit my friend Bella perfectly as she lives in an adobe house - I've changed the hair colour to grey so that it looks more like her.
